It was a steam train. A living proof of the rise and fall of great domains, the splendor of dynastic lines, and the profound transformations driven by eras of change.

In an era when the tales of the Lords of Gold and Shadows already felt like myths of a remote past, rail transport was about to begin its march, prompting the deployment of formally dressed knights.

In the midst of the crowd stood a young infant.

His appearance betrayed great youth, wearing strips of dark cloth over his eyes, which completely blocked his vision.

Despite this, he did not give the impression that he could perceive the hidden surroundings around him.

He only took hesitant steps in the gloom, leaning on a guiding staff, until an arm gently intervened to halt his progress. It was a gesture full of warmth and protection.

“Sepia.”

“The locomotive will start shortly.”

A lady dressed in elegant clothing uttered these words in a low voice, sheltering her ears beneath the wide brim of her headdress. The minor nodded in agreement.

“What is the destination of this journey?”

“It is a mystery,” Sepia answered with a cheerful gesture, tilting her face slightly.

“Any destination will be favorable, right?”

“Indeed, it will be,” the boy replied, reflecting her same joy.
